It's the final night's performance in a top London theatre as the cast and crew prepare for a short break before embarking on a six month US tour. Kate and Adam, the leading actors, struggle through another night of their argument-ridden offstage relationship which, unbeknownst to them, is threatening their future in the company. Wearily juggling a petulant ensemble cast, an anxiety plagued intern and primadonna Amy's distinct vocal concerns for her diminishing stage time, Jan their stage manager, tries to keep the cracks from showing as even the set is collapsing around them.
